Israel and the Israeli People Need Your Support Now

As the scale of the attacks becomes clearer by the day, we cannot overstate the urgency of this crisis. In response, we took swift action and opened an Israel Emergency Fund to provide immediate support. The Fund will address urgent humanitarian needs as they arise, including emergency medical needs, relocation, unprecedented levels of trauma, and other services to victims of terror.

The situation in Israel is dire, and the need for assistance is urgent. 100% of your donations go directly to these essential efforts, ensuring that your support reaches those who need it most.

On October 8, 2023, Federation CEO Joy Sisisky joined with prominent legislators to address the Bay Area Jewish community as they gathered in solidarity with Israel at Congregation Sherith Israel in San Francisco.

We are leading the collective response to meet immediate needs as they arise by working with partners including the Israel Trauma Coalition, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, and Jewish Agency for Israel.

As the center for Jewish philanthropy in the Bay Area, we are mobilizing vital relief efforts during crises, spanning from Ukraine to Maui and to Israel.
